Grading
If you received:
0 wrong - You must be General Hunt (Chief of Artillery for the Army of the Potomac).
1 wrong - You must be a Colonel (Regimental Commander).
2 wrong - You must be a Lieutenant-Colonel (Battalion Commander).
3 wrong - You must be a Major (Staff Officer).
4 wrong - You must be a Captain (Battery Commander).
5 wrong - You must be a Lieutenant (Section Leader/Chief of the Line of Caissons).
6 wrong - You must be a First Sergeant (Senior Battery NCO).
7 wrong - You must be a Sergeant (Chief of Piece).
8 wrong - You must be a Corporal (Gunner).
9 wrong - You must be a Corporal (Chief of Limber).
10 wrong - You must be a Private (Cannoneer).
11 wrong - You must be a Private (Spare Man).
12+ wrong - You must be a Civilian.
In order to pass this test, you must receive a 70% on each section. Here is the most you could get wrong in each section and still receive a 70%.
True and False Section - 14 correct of 20 total questions (6 wrong) = 70%
Multiple Choice Section - 12 correct of 16 total questions (4 wrong) = 75%
Safety True and False Section - 19 correct of 27 total questions (9 wrong) = 70%
Identification Section - 53 correct of 75 total questions (22 wrong) = 71%
Cannon Drill Section - 15 correct of 21 total questions (6 wrong) = 71%
Misfire Drill Section - 5 correct of 6 total questions (1 wrong) = 83%
Total for the entire test - 118 correct of 165 total questions (48 wrong) = 72%
