Volunteer Infantry Association Meeting
January 29, 2000
Allenton, WI
The regimental meeting will take place at Cecil's Place (the old Wolf's
Bar) at 10 am. Please be there on time.
Getting there is not too hard. Allenton is located at the junction
of U.S. 41 and WI 33 about 25 miles northwest of Milwaukee.
Southeastern Wisconsin. Allenton is where the red star is.
To get there, just follow this map and these directions:
Allenton, WI.
From the North (Green Bay, Escanaba, MI, etc.)

Head south on U.S. 41 until you reach the exit at WI 33. Exit and
turn right at the end of the ramp. You are now headed west on WI
33.

You will head directly into town, down a hill.

Cecil's place will be on the left (south) side of the road near the bottom
of the hill.

Enter the parking lot and park in the rear of the building. We will
be in the meeting room in the back.

Remember, if you cross the railroad tracks, you have gone too far.
From the South (Milwaukee, Chicago, etc.)

Head north on U.S. 41 until you reach the exit at WI 33. Exit and
turn left at the end of the ramp. You are now headed west on WI 33.

Cross over U.S. 41 on the bridge. You will head directly into town,
down a hill.

Cecil's place will be on the left (south) side of the road near the bottom
of the hill.

Enter the parking lot and park in the rear of the building. We will
be in the meeting room in the back.

From the East (West Bend, Saukville, etc.)

Head west on WI 33 until you near Allenton.

Cross over U.S. 41 on the bridge. You will head directly into town,
down a hill.

Cecil's place will be on the left (south) side of the road near the bottom
of the hill.

Enter the parking lot and park in the rear of the building. We will
be in the meeting room in the back.

From the West (Madison, Beaver Dam, etc.)

Head east on WI 33 until you near Allenton.

You will head directly into town, down a hill.

Cross over the railroad tracks.

Cecil's place will be just ahead on the right (south) side of the road
near the bottom of the hill in front of you.

Enter the parking lot and park in the rear of the building. We will
be in the meeting room in the back.

Remember, if you start going up another hill, you went too far.
Like any driving directions/map, you should always
do a reality check and make sure the road still exists, watch out for construction,
and follow all traffic safety precautions. This is only to be used as an
aid in planning.
