U.W. La Crosse Living History and
Camp of Instruction

This event will take place at Coate Hall Field -
University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.

Coate Field is to the right of red circle #3 on the left side of the map.
There will be a school demonstration on Friday, with a living history open to
the public on Saturday and Sunday.
To get there, just follow this map and these directions:
- Exit at exit #5 (Onalaska/La Crosse) off of I-90.

The Junction of I-90 and WI 16 near Onalaska, WI.
- Take a left at the stop light at the end of the exit ramp. You
are now on WI 16 heading west.
- Stay on WI 16. It will take you all the way into La Crosse.
You will pass Valley View Shopping Center on the left.
At the eighth stoplight, you will come to a major intersection.
Stay in the right lane as you approach this intersection. Turn right on La
Crosse Street.

- Stay on La Crosse Street until the next stop light which is East
Avenue. Turn left on East Avenue. Go one more block until you hit Farwell St.

Coate Field should be where the
is.

- Proceed all the way to the end of Farwell. You will come to
the UW-L Eagle Recreation Center parking lot. You will be next to
Coate Hall field, the site of the encampment.
Like any driving directions/map, you should always
do a reality check and make sure the road still exists, watch out for construction,
and follow all traffic safety precautions. This is only to be used as an
aid in planning.
