Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center Living History
June 3-5, 2005
Milwaukee, WI

Event information: The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee has invited us to do a two day living history program on the grounds of the hospital. We will be portraying ourselves during the weekend. A variety of activities are planned including a parade, medical scenarios and lantern tours of the cemetery on Saturday. Sunday will be living history.

Breakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 08:15-09:30, dinner on Saturday from 17:45-19:15, and lunch on Sunday from 12:30-15:00.  All meals will be in the mess hall and the menu for breakfast is pancakes and SOS the other meals have not been specified.  Captain Brown will have tickets available for those who want to participate in any of these meals.  Saturday lunch is on our own as a unit.

We will probably not be firing any cannon rounds; if we do it will be only one or two.

Impression: For the weekend we are doing our usual late fall of '62 impression. The other thing is that we will use our normal uniforms, but we will not be wearing our Corp badges, as this will be a '62 impression. If you want to do a detached infantry impression, that will be good as our detached volunteer list was growing rapidly at this time. Be prepared for the weather because it has been pretty unpredictable as of late.

Re-enactor schedule: The schedule in the brochure is for the public. Arrival should be either Friday night after 5:00 pm or Saturday before 9:00 am. Your may also arrive on Sunday morning before 10:00 am.
