In April 1996, the Battery went to Fort Niagara, NY for an National
Civil War Artillery Association safety school. The men slept in the
barracks at the fort, and were able to tour the grounds. Pictured
here is a 12 pound Napoleon similar to the one that the Battery uses, however
it has the old style handles over the center of the tube. Photo courtesy
