Many Civil War soldiers were Freemasons.  Appropriately, many Civil War re-enactors are also Freemasons.  Armistead-Bingham Lodge #1862, F&AM of Wisconsin recreates a traveling military Lodge that was prevalent throughout the Civil War.  Several members of Battery B, 4^th U.S. Light Artillery are members of this Lodge.  Here is a picture of the lodge room at the Old Wade House State Historical Site in Greenbush, WI on October 2, 1999.
