Cpl. Brant Doty gives a demonstration of what black power can do to various
materials. He then shows the men what happened to the materials. The
synthetic fiber cloth melted into a glob, the cotton cloth was almost completely
burned, the wool cloth was singed but mostly okay, and the leather was barely
burned. The men get a practical lesson of why we wear wool uniforms and
thick leather gloves when working the cannon
