Every war needs soldiers. Every group of re-enactors need people who are either curious enough or passionate enough about history to keep the unit functioning.
Battery B is always looking for new people willing to join our unit to help educate the general public about both the Civil War and Civil War Field Artillary specifically. We are recruiting primarily men for military roles, but if as a lady you are interested do no hesitate to ask for information. (Your impression just gets a lot harder if you go military.) For women not very interested in the military roles we also have an auxilary unit which includes a variety of civilian roles.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our impression but more than anything else our primary goals at events are to educated the public and have fun ourselves. We currently have two cannons a 12-pound Napoleon and a Parrott. We average 1-2 events per month and sometimes more.
